Last week in Mexico City Attorney Moreno collaborated with Agenda Migrante to speak before the Mexican Congress and present ways to help detained Mexican Nationals in the U. S. A few proposals included increasing the budget to legal defense and to educational programs directed at informing the community of their rights. Attorney Moreno also stressed the importance of educating and funding to help those who were the victim of a crime in he U. S. She also proposed that congress pass legislation to protect undocumented nationals from being deported and the importance of security measures in Mexico to ensure safe return for their citizens and to provide medical services to those in need.
